02 Giu Eat your peas
Recensione di: Sara (insegnante).
Eat your peas is a story about a little girl, Daisy, who doesn’t like peas. Her mum tries everything in order to get Daisy to eat her peas: she promises a new bike, one ice cream, 100 ice creams, a baby elephant, up to a rocketship! But Daisy hates peas and refuses to eat them. Finally the little girl makes a suggestion to her mum ‘I’ll eat my peas if you eat your brussels’. Daisy’s mum replies:” I don’t like Brussels”.
Eat your peas is simple, yet involving. The repetition in the book is a fun way for the children to be involved often calling out ‘but I don’t like peas’.
